• How do I apply Perma-Zyme?

  Application is a simple, one-time process. The basic steps are:

  • Rip up the soil.
  • Apply water and Perma-Zyme to the soil surface to reach optimum moisture.
  • Mix the soil and shape the road with a motor grader.
  • Compact the soil in six-inch lifts for maximum strength.
  • Allow 72 hours for the soil to fully cure.

• How much does Perma-Zyme cost?

  Cost varies based on several factors, like the size of your project and the type of traffic it will see. Tell us about your project, and we’ll give you a quote.
  

• How much Perma-Zyme do I need?

  All projects require one gallon of Perma-Zyme per 160 cubic yards of soil. To put that in perspective, here's how much you need for common projects:

  • One gallon treats a typical driveway.
  • One pail (five gallons) treats one acre of soil.
  • Three pails (15 gallons) treats one mile of two-lane road.

• What soils work with Perma-Zyme?

  Most soils work great with Perma-Zyme!

  Yes. Perma-Zyme is safe to use near people, plants, animals, water, and property. It's 100% natural and organic. It's also non-toxic, non-hazardous, and non-corrosive. That said, do not ingest Perma-Zyme. These enzymes won't help your digestion, but they will help your soil!

• How long does Perma-Zyme last?

  Results vary by project type and traffic. Here are some real project lifespans that our customers have consistently reported around the world:

  • Unpaved roads (normal traffic): 7 to 15+ years
  • Unpaved roads (heavy traffic): 5 to 8 years
  • Paved road subbase: 20 to 30+ years
  • Lake and pond lining: 30+ years
  • Dust control (normal traffic): 8 months to 4 years
  • Dust control (heavy traffic): 6 months to 2 years

• How does Perma-Zyme reduce maintenance?

  Treated soil resists water and erosion to help prevent common problems like ruts, potholes, frost damage, and washboarding. Most customers grade treated areas just one to four times per year.
