• Is Bacto-Zyme hazardous?

  No, Bacto-Zyme is not hazardous. It’s safe to use around people, animals, and water!

  We make Bacto-Zyme from natural enzymes and a trade-secret blend of organic ingredients, so it’s 100% eco-friendly. The formula is also hypoallergenic, non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-abrasive. It washes off with water.

  That said, we do recommend a few safety practices, like wearing protective glasses in case the product splashes. For more safe handling tips, download the Safety Data Sheet.

• Does Bacto-Zyme reduce animal odors?

  Yes! Our customers find Bacto-Zyme helpful for reducing animal odors on their farms. It’s natural and non-toxic, so it’s safe to use around your animals regularly. Just dilute the Bacto-Zyme with water (1:100) and spray it on smelly areas.

  In the meantime, here are the dilution rates we recommend for common projects:

  • Drain lines 3:1

  • Degreasing 30:1

  • Cleaning 40:1 to 75:1 (varies by use)

  • Odor elimination 100:1
